Cheng Gao is a Computer Science PhD student at University of Missouri-Columbia working with Dr. Henry Wan. He is currently focusing on sparse learning and bioinformatics. His primary focus is to propose and apply sparse learning algorithms to analyze glycan motifs on IAVs. He aspires to make contributions to the community by utilizing his analyzing results.
He earned his Master’s degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Oregon State University in 2019 and Bachelor’s degree in Automation from Wuhan University of Technology in 2016.
